Select & Stream + O2 app


Hi,

I subscribed to O2 HomeSpot and there was a free one year streaming service offer attached to it (“Select & Stream”). Great, but I don't find where to activate it/use it. Isn't there a way to access this from MeinO2 website? 

Or is it something for which I absolutely need to have the Mein O2 mobile app? The reason I ask this is another issue I have. My phone is an Android one which has it's Google Play store set to a different country (not Germany) in which the MeinO2 app is NOT available. I can't change the phone to the German Google Play Store because of my banking apps from the other country. So I absolutely need to set things up at the website and not at the app (unless there is a solution, maybe a pkg file form the O2 app?).

Oh, I did not know there was a 30-day waiting period. Thanks for letting me know. The fact is, I don't speak any German at all so I do everything with not so reliable help of Chrome translator. It's tough sometimes. So all I have to is wait. Ok!

I regret that something went wrong with the pack “o2 Select & Stream”. I just booked it for your tariff. 

 

As @witti already told you, you will receive an activation-link now within the next 30 days. Afterwards, you have 30 days time to choose your streaming-product.

But you have the possibility to use Google translator. Just follow the instructions mentioned here:

Hi,

I think I did manage to choose the service (Sky Ticket) I will use my Select and Stream credit with. I received an email about it, clicked on it, followed the steps, and at the end there was something about 24h before completion (sorry for being so vague, but I had to navigate all this with Google Translator, a nightmare).

All this was last week. I didn't receive any further communication. Now what I want to know is how to actually use the credit on Sky-Ticket (I'm not their customer yet). Should I register with Sky first? Do I have a promo code to use with them? Sorry but I have no idea what to do from now.

Did you check if you received an email from sky or a text message on your homespot router? 

If not we have to further investigate what happend and why you didnt get any message reagarding the activation.
