Roaming in India

Hello,

 

I will visit India next week. I have O2 postpaid plan. Do I need to do anything to keep my number active in India. Also what are the rates if I receive/ make a call from India?

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

India belongs to the world zone 4, as such it is rather pricy to use your o2 plan over there. Making a call there would cost you 2,49€ per Minute while incoming calls are priced at 1,59€ per minute. You can also find this and further information in the pricelist online.

What is your tariff actually called? I would stay in India with the contract in flight mode. This way you won't experience any unpleasant surprises. Make do with a local solution in the meantime.
