Putting UK sim on hold

Hello O2,

 

I have just moved to Germany and have gotten a German sim card for a year, is there anyway I can put my UK sim on hold for that one year as I do not want to by paying for two sim cards, just my German one?

Like Sächsin wrote, you can contact your mobile operator in the UK, with us for example there is a possibilitiy to put contracts on hold under certain circumstances when working abroad.
