Prepaid transition bridge needed for number porting on Oct 14th

Hello, I need some help in English as I cannot navigate the German hotlines.

My O₂ Prepaid M package expires tomorrow, October 13th at 14:58. However, my number transfer to SIMon mobile is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14th. My city registration/anmeldung is also on the same date, 13th around the time when my O2 prepaid will end. Is it possible to just extend this until the end of the day, for a few more hours? I do have 15GB left over in my plan.

Can a moderator please activate the legal "Weiterversorgung" (continued service bridge) for Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning so that my mobile data and network connection stay active until the transfer? I do not want my current plan to auto-renew for a full month just for a few hours of overlap. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip, but using the base tariff data rates will quickly drain any balance. Furthermore, my account has a €0 balance, so the card will simply lose all data connectivity tomorrow at 14:58 once the package expires.

Since I am left without any service for nearly 20 hours, I am waiting for an official O₂ moderator to assist with a temporary, free "Weiterversorgung" bridge until Wednesday morning, as mandated by the TKG (Telecommunications Act) for porting transitions.

Das was Sächsin schreibt passt.

Hey @deva99,

Welcome to the o2 Community.
“Weiterversorgung” is provided. However, a prepaid card only works if you have credit and a purchased data plan - or if you’re on the basic plan - as other o2 Community users have already explained to you :)
Unfortunately, “free” “Weiterversorgung”, that is, service without any cost, doesn’t work that way ;)

Greetings,
Flo
