You can cancel your contract here:  Ihr Kündigungswunsch | o2. Depending on the contract duration it will be terminated by that date. 

In order to  by a new prepaid card, you can find all offers here:  Prepaid-Tarife & Prepaid-Karten für Handy & Internet I o2 can do

The phone number can then be transferred with the form that Bollermann has already linked above.
