Hello, I had a prepaid number, and this afternoon I chose a postpaid contract online giving my current prepaid number. After some minutes I received an email saying that I will receive a new sim card. I didn't ask for a new number I just want to use my current number as postpaid that's all. How can I solve this problem ? Thanks

Whenever you start a new postpaid contract it will be given its own new phone number.
Still, the good news is that you can take your o2 prepaid number and transfer it to your contract number, and to do so is even free.
Once your contract is up and running, you can either follow this link or log in to your Mein o2 account (of your postpaid contract) or the Mein o2 app.
In the "SIM verwalten" section, you then choose your SIM card and click on "Rufnummernmitnahme / Zu o2" or "Rufnummer zu o2 mitnehmen".
There you can name the (o2 prepaid) number you wish to import and start the process.
Typically, your old prepaid number should be imported within 8 work days.
