Ported my number to o2, can not make phone call

Hi,

 

I recently ported my number  from another provider (vodafone) to o2 and since the switch I can't seem to be making call. Internet and other things seem to work fine but call does not. It does show up as a “No Caller Id ” on the other side but no ring sound on my side.

My current tariff is o2 Free M.

just fyi; I can receive calls from other people but I can not call others. 

 

can someone take a look at this situation? I have not been able to use my phone since my tariff activated and I am paying full price every month.

Thank you for your enquiry and welcome to the o2 community!

Unfortunately I can't see what the problem is as your forum profile is not linked to your phone number.

Quick question: which device are you currently using? Have you changed anything in the device settings? Also, are you only unable to make outgoing calls at a certain location or everywhere?
For your information: in the Livecheck of o2 you can check your network and see if there is a problem at your current location. You can find it here: Live-Check

Have you also had the opportunity to test your sim card in another device to make sure that it's not the device?

If we don't find a solution this way, I will bring you into the private messages for another exchange of data.

I am using iPhone 12 from o2. I can't make any outgoing call to any phone but I can accept calls from others. Sms still works. (Shows up with my o2 temp number though)

 

My phone number ported from vodafone number but not being able to do any outgoing calls means they didn't actually make the full switch (just call forwarding from old to new hence incoming calls are possible)
