Please stop sending me emails requesting payment authorisation

Good day O2 Team,

I was offered an extension to my existing account which I cancelled after speaking to one of your representatives.  Since then O2 has been relentlessly spamming me with requests to   authorise payment for this cancelled contract that never started.

Please look into this and sort it out as all of your systems should have been updated when I cancelled this extension.

Thanks

Hi @eveseeuqu

welcome to our English Community.

I guess that there was a misunderstanding when you talked with our hotline.

As I see in your data, you did not get an extension of your current contract, but it was a new contract in the tariff “o2 Free S Boost Kombi”. But we already cancelled this contract. The new contract will not be charged.

But nevertheless, you still have your contract “o2 Free M” that still has a duration of 9 months. If you like to prolong this contract for further 24 months, I will be happy to help you.

Would you like to extend your contract in the tariff “o2 Free S Boost” and keep your mobile phone number?

If you are interested in an offer, just come back here to our English Community.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Good day Tobias,

thank you for responding to me.

Unfortunately, I just received a letter from O2 dated 8 April 2021 giving me a “Letzte Errinerung” for a SEPA Mandate.

If this an automatically generated communication, that has been sent in error I would ask that your systems are updated and no further communication relating to this matter is sent to me. Otherwise, I see it as harassment and I do not appreciate the constant bombardment of unsolicited mail.

Please could you check and confirm that no such “mahnung” or “errinerung” for the  “o2 Free S Boost Kombi” is being sent to me?

Many thanks for your assistance in sorting this issue out.

Hi @eveseeuqu

Sorry for our late reply. Please sent us the signed document we have sent you via fax or letter for the SEPA payment authorisation,

or go to o2.de/meine-daten/sepa .

Without a new authorisation its not possible to take the money from your bank account and you have to transfer the monthy invoice by yourself to our bankaccount.

Best Regards Matze

Good day,

There appears to be a misunderstanding on your part.

O2 is asking me to authorise payment for a service/contract I have not agreed to or signed.

Please check your systems and stop spamming me with payment requests for services that I have not agreed to.

Hi @eveseeuqu

thanks for your reply.

As I already informed you, that the contract “o2 Free S Boost Kombi” is already cancelled. This is already clarified.

But nevertheless, we still need a SEPA for all your current contracts: your mobile phone-number with -306 at the end as well as for your o2 My Handy-contracts.

Therefore, please fill out this SEPA.

Thanks a lot for your cooperation.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Good day Tobias,

thank you for clarifying things up.

However, could you let me know what happened to the existing standing order mandate, as this has been in place since the contracts were agreed.  A set amount is withdrawn from my account on a monthly basis including April 2021.  Has this been cancelled by O2?

Rgds,

Hi @eveseeuqu

thanks for your reply again.

Yes, at the moment we still debit the amounts from your bank account. But in order that we are allowed to continue doing this, we need your filled out SEPA

Just do me the favor and fill it out for your mobile phone number and for your 2 devices.

Thanks a lot.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
