Phone call not working

Hello, 

I joined the o2 sim card community in mid january. The mobile data is fine, the internet works, i can gain access to wifi fine, I can also send SMS. However, i cannot phone or recevie phone calls from other people ! When i try to phone people, it rings once and then hangs up. 

I can phone on Whatsapp though which is odd.

Its definetly not my phone the problem as this has never happened before (Samsung A25 5G), and my old sim card could still phone and receive calls. (i was with Bouygue Telecom before). 

Can you tell me how this can be fixed ?

I've had a look at this. The contract you have taken out is an o2 Data M Flex contract. This contract is an Internet-only contract.
This means that telephony, neither incoming nor outgoing, is possible.
I assume that this was not what you wanted?

WhatsApp uses the Internet so that is not odd.

Are you able to try the SIM in a different phone?

This means that telephony, neither incoming nor outgoing, is possible.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the tariff as it is only a data tariff. In this case, you would have
to cancel it and take out a new one.🙈

I believe I saw an offer for 24.99 euros a month for people under 29 years of age which includes SMS, Phonecalls, 100 GB a month and the possibility of cancelling the contract at any time. (I need German internet till july/august so a 24 month contract is not suitable for me)

Would it be possible for you to help me switch contracts ?

you are currently using a data contract.
Without SMS and telephone flat rate. 
With these tariffs, you can technically only switch from a data contract to a data contract. 

You can cancel this contract and simply take out a new one at the conditions you have seen.
