PDP authentication failure

Hallo,

I have one problem with my internet. It doesn't work at all.

Since I'm not in Germany now I wanted to ask you how can you help me.

It's written that I have a problem with PDP authentication failure.

What can I do?

Hi axkoenig,

as I see you can use your mobile data now again.

You couldn't use it anymore because you didn't have any data volume left abroad in Italy. You only have 1 GB data volume. Now it refreshed at the 20th of September, and since then you're using it again! ☺️

Hi Jelena,

please check the settings at your smartphone. Is the word "internet" at the APN? Its very important if you want to use the mobile internet in another country.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem and the word "internet" is at the APN. I have already tried resetting the network settings, clearing all cookies and history of safari, restarting and hard restart (all suggestions from the internet) but none of them worked! Apparently it might be a problem with the carrier. I have a german contract but moved to Italy yesterday and the internet worked at first. Today it doesn't anymore. I've got 1GB of roaming data included in my contract. Please help!

Hi,

I have the same problem.
I'm in Japan and replied to 80112 (SMS) with "WORLD" in order to enable Mobile data.
I received a message that says successfully activated, but an error message"PDP authentication failure" came up.
Tried 2 days, and it never worked.

By the way, at the APN "internet" is entered.
