Hello,

I'm traveling in Germany, and I've purchased an o2 prepaid SIM card from Media Markt. I think it's an O2 my Prepaid M card. It only works with the o2 network, which is sometimes very weak. I also go to the Netherlands soon and fear I would have no network connection there. I'd like to know if there is a way to open my SIM card to connect with other networks, and how I can do this soon (i.e. today).

Thank you

Do you know how I can fix those settings?

Hi @GalHazor,

welcome to our English community.

Congratulations for your Prepaid-tariff “o2 My Prepaid M”. This tariff includes the EU-Roaming and therefore, you are able to use your tariff also in the Netherlands.

Did you already make bad experiences with using your prepaid card outside of Germany?

I will send you now a private message via @o2_Support  in order to check if you are blocked for connections abroad.

Please reply there to my private message.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

Thanks for your reply. I haven't used this SIM card outside of Germany yet, but I'm worried because here in Germany it only connects to the o2 network, even when the signal from the o2 network is weak and other networks are available. I answered your private message, please let me know when you read my answer.

Thank you
