Hi,

I bought O2 HomeSpot with O2 my Data Spot Unlimited tariff on 30.03.2020.

As per my contract (and, what was communicated to me during the commencement of the said contract), I should only be charged 50% of the regular monthly price of O2 my Data Spot Unlimited tariff, but I got my first bill that includes O2 HomeSpot charges and it seems like I have been charged with the normal monthly rate (the charge seems to be for one day only, since I believe the day that I activated my O2 HomeSpot SIM card was the last day of my previous contract’s billing month).

Also, as per my contract (and, what was communicated to me during the commencement of the said contract), I should be exempt from paying the monthly price of O2 HomeSpot router, but I saw a transaction on my account that includes not only the one-time router price of 25 EUR (which I understood I’d have to pay) but also a 5 EUR monthly price (which I should be exempt as per my contract).

Could you please, clarify why I’m being charged extra (for both the tariff and the router costs) and not given the discounts as per my contract.

Thanks!

they tell you you get the homespot router for just 25€. but then they take away 1x 25€ plus 5€ every month.

this persists for 2 years until you have paid 145€ for the router.

you need to know that they will reduce contract fees by 5€ a month for 2 years. you pay only 14,99€ or 34,99€. so the deal is broken on the word but still is ok on the money.

why you pay full rent instead of half i do not know.

Thanks @Schaf344 for clarifying the router costs part.

Could anyone from the O2 team please, clarify the part about me not receiving the 50% discount despite my contract saying so.
