O2 bill unexpected charges after cancelling

Hello, I had cancelled my o2 plan on august 28th right when I was about to leave germany back to canada and for some reason I am still getting charged? Is there anything you guys can do to help me get a refund on specifically these bills as I had cancelled way before hand?

Did you submit the documents required for early termination? How / where did you submit your termination request?

At the moment everything would appear to be correct. Be aware that the period of notice in one month so if you terminated the contract on 28th August it will only just now have come to an end. As invoices are issued retrospectively, you will have been billed in September for the period up to 24th September and can expect to receive another (final) bill in October for the remaining days of the contract.

Yes I did submit the documents required for early termination and I did this by going in person to the o2 manager.

You mean you went to a shop and the manager sent the documents in for you with a termination letter? Did you receive any form of confirmation? Can you still log in to the customer portal? If so, does the contract show as “gekündigt”? If you look at the last pasge of the latest bill it should also show the termination status.

If the contract is not showing as terminated and you have no proof that o2 received the notice and the documents, then it would be best to send everything again here: https://info.o2online.de/kuendigung/

Select “außerordentliche Kündigung”, explain the reason and attach the documents.

I have the cancellation email right here and invoice. I can send it at anytime.

Did you look at the invoice? Is the contract showing there as terminated? If not you will need to contact customer services to find out what the status is.

Did you also look at the dates covered by the invoice and compare these with the date the contract should end? As already stated, it is logical that you are still receiving invoices if the conrtract only ended on 28th September.

Can you still log in to Mein o2 and access your contract details and invoices?

bs0 has already pointed this out to you - please make all personal data unrecognizable if you want to share something with us here. I have done this for you and removed all personal information.

 

What you sent is not a confirmation of termination. It is merely a confirmation of receipt of your termination. You also did not indicate that you wanted to terminate your contract because you were moving abroad. Did you receive anything else from us, such as a confirmation of termination? Do you remember when your regular contract ended? Did you have a contract that could be terminated on a monthly basis? If you still have a bill, you can check the end date of the contract there.
