Number transfer

Hello o2 English Community

 

I order a new phone and a new contract with o2 and I would love to transfer my o2 postpaid number to this new contract. My old contract end in November.

 

Is it possible?

Hello @rtartari and welcome to our o2 community :-)

As @Bollermann already stated we unfortunately do not offer a transfer of a phone number from one post paid contract to another. Maybe a contract extension with a tariff change would have been a possibility?

If the number is important and you need it on your contract the other possibility would be to first transfer to a prepaid operator first and the import it back to your new contract.

It's not possible from o2 Postpaid to o2 Postpaid.

Hi @rtartari :relaxed:

 

please make sure the first new prepaid provider where you want to “park” your number temporarily doesn’t belong to an o2 brand before you transfer it back to your contract.
