number portability rejected by O2


I released my O2 postpaid number on 04.06.2025. Following which I received an email confirmation with Gültigkeitsdatum Opt-in: 04.07.2025.

After which I request for a number portability with new provider and O2 denied the request with reason:

  • Bei der Portierung der Rufnummer 0151xxxxxx22 ist es zu einem Fehler gekommen. Die Fehlermeldung Ihres aktuellen Anbieters lautet:
    Portierung zu früh – Die Mitnahme der Rufnummer muss innerhalb von vier Monaten stattfinden. Ihre Kündigung beim aktuellen Anbieter ist zu einem späteren Datum hinterlegt.

I have requested twice for portability and both requests rejected.

Can someone from O2 help me port my number?

I see that your contract ends on 18th of July.

Did you request  an immediate (sofort) porting with your new provider or at the end of your contract with us?

I requested sofort porting. The porting request got approved after I posted for help.

whoever intervened, help is appreciated.
