I would like to take my current mobile number from o2 prepaid to another provider for my new contract. Could you please release my number 0176 **** 2287 for porting immediately?
Even though this page says I can do it via App or MyO2, I couldn't find it anywhere: https://www.o2online.de/service/vertrag-tarif/rufnummernmitnahme/
Another question: Will my contract end after the new provider requests the number or I need to solve this in another thread?

I arranged the porting of your prepaid number. Your new provider can go for it.
With the porting the SIM card remains but with a new number. It is not a cancellation. The new number is sent by text.

For the release of the O₂ prepaid phone number we contact customers the O₂ Prepaid Support. Call Prepaid Support 017688855282.👈🏽
The telephone number taking is chargeable, so we have to make sure customers have enough credit on the card 24,95 €. O₂ price list prepaid. Prepaid price list 👈🏽
Booked credit on the card, we can also pay customers, to fill out the form O₂ Prepaid credit balance and send to the O₂ Prepaid customer care. o2 Prepaid credit balance. Prepaid Credit balance 👈🏽
We must also pay attention to customers, we are the sole card holder of this O₂ prepaid card. After successfully exporting the phone number, our card is deactivated immediately and we can not use it anymore.
