I checked other posts where it says what to do but for me to take Partner card I have options in “Previous provider” and there is no “AldiTalk”,  “eplus” or anything similar so I am unable to finish my purchase ?

 

Also this is my Partner number, so it will not match my First Name/Last Name ?

Hello @AleksandarP, nice that you want to port to us 😊. In the list you can choose Telefonica for your previous provider, cause we are all in the Boat.

Thank you @o2_Ines  for respond, but again, there is no “Telefonica” provided in drop-down list :D 


I will see to buy, then port it after that.

Extra issue is  that it dont ask for “Second First name/Last name” as it is my partner number, it wont match my name, guessing this is UX fault.


Alditalk ist der Anbieter in der Liste, telefonica ist falsch.

Der Name ist kein Problem, bei der Eingabe der Portierung trägt man die Daten ein die beim alten Anbieter hinterlegt sind.

do you have “Aldi” in the list like on this screenshot?

Then you can choose this and arrange for the porting of your number.

Now I see Aldi Talk but I dont see option to part number for Partner card (Port number from Aldi to Partner Card)  - which again is quite a problem.

  • I dont want to replace my default phone number 

 

What I did:

  1. I purchased Partner card (wasnt able to port number as there were no Aldi or similar Options)
    1. Plus there were no option to provide Partner (Different Person Name) 
  2. Now when I go to Transfer your phone number to o2 I dont see partner card - it only gives my original SIM card that I dont want to change

Is it that you wanted to bring the number from an Aldi prepaid, where it was under a different name than yours to your new partner card? In that case you need to have it released by Aldi via the current owner of number and Aldi prepaid and order the transfer with the name of the current owner to the default number of your partner card.

If you register the default number of the partner card for Mein o2, do you then see it under your login?

Finally DONE it, so here are the steps:
 

  1. Purchased o2 Partner card (added my partner name)
  2. Waited to be activated (will get the mobile number) 
    1. I did use it for 30 days but don't need to wait that long
  3. Send an email to ALDI with Signed PDF  (Rufnummernmitnahme formulare)
    1. https://www.alditalk.de/downloads-formulare 
  4. Wait for approval from ALDI (email, sms)
  5. Send a request on o2 by selecting Partner card here
    1. https://www.o2online.de/ecareng/?contentId=mnp_portierungsformular
  6. Wait a couple of days, you will receive an SMS when it is activated
    1. when it is activated - in most cases it needs to restart the phone (esp. if using an eSim card)
