number portability

I have already requested and clicked the option of rufnummermitnehmen in O2 app. Got the messages: " i need to do portability within 30 days, let your new providers know and do the procedure".  Do i need to still let the providers know? And If so, how can i contact them?

You must contact your new provider within 30 days and request porting of your mobile number.
