Number portability


Hello could anyone answer my question please. 

I have a contract with o2, and they have already taken my aldi talk number (schon mitgenommen bei O2). Now i wanted to cancel my contract due to technical problems with the cable box and the router installation and send a termination letter. While waiting for a feedback with the termination. I already took a new Tarif contract still with O2, my question is; can I also use my aldi number with the new tarif contract or it will be automatically my contact number as soon as my former contract would be cancelled?

You can have the number you have ported to the one unlimited ported to your Home M via the hotline. That is possible. As this is a porting from o2 to o2, this can only be done via the hotline.

I have ordered the O2 Homespot 2 LTE with O2 my Home M contract, I receive a sim card that is for the router itself, i can also insert it on my phone whenever i go out. But I need a fixed new mobile sim card in which i can port my ported Aldi talk number again, so I ordered O2 My Data M to receive a new sim card for my phone and to have internet outside without removing the simcard from the router. Would this serve also as a mobile number to be called and to call someone? or it will just function as a datavolume internet sim card?

Dear @Ynna ,

you have to put the SIM card for the Homespot in a router, it is not intended for a mobile phone. A data tariff has no telephony. You can put the SIM card in a mobile phone, but you cannot use it to make calls.

You can have your number ported to the data card, but as I said, you will not be able to receive calls with it.
So if you want to make calls, you should cancel the data tariff and choose a partner card from our portfolio.

@o2_Andrea Can you please help me about my problem.

 

Last December 01, 2021 I registered and took a contract for O2 One Unlimited, I received the Fritzbox 6660 but it didnt work in my apartment, theres no internet connection due to main cable technical problems. Upon receiving the router through DHL office and during the Freischaltung schedule, no one came to assist by the installation. There no internet connection and the power or cable light from the router is always blinking and that means its not connected to the internet. I called the  O2 hotline many times and got a schedule for  technical checking. A technician came and checked the cable port, he said the cable doesnt work and O2 should give a router for DSL not thru cable. So I talked again to another Personel and he said that the cable does not work and thru DSL the connection would be very slow, so I decided to write a special termination letter and sent it four times to impressum@cc.o2online.de. Until now I did not receive a reply regarding the letter of termination.   I havent used the router and I already have it returned thru retoure. Yesterday the payment for the said contract including the anschlusspreis although no one came to install the router, was already automatically deducted to my bank account. Today I received a call from O2 and told me that I should read about how to write a Sonderkündigung. And to send it to the same email address. Can anyone show me and tell me how to write a special termination letter for my case? Where can I find the instruction in writing a Sonderkündigung brief or is the a link for it. I do not know what to do, I need to stop the contract so I wont pay for the unused contract for the whole 24 months, i find it so unfair, just because I do not understand the language that much and theres no solution to the cable and  installation problem. Should i pay for it for nothing?

a deactivation for the cable contract has already been entered and it will be ended on the 7th of February. Please remember to return the Hardware to us to avoid any extra fees. You can get the necessary documents for the return via our "Rücksendeportal". If you need further help with this, just ask.

If its already been entered for deactivation, can i still stop the cancellation, and is it possible to continue the two contracts?

we can still remove the cancellation for your Cablecontract and we can in that case also provide you with another router. If you give us the go ahead for these two points, we’d be glad to help you with this.

Hello could anyone answer my question please. 

 

I had an lebara number. And planned to port from lebara to o2. Reached o2 office directly and requested for portability and took a contract as well for 2 years. It's been more than a month but portability was not done and I tried to reach customer care so many times but nothing was happening same answer everything saying that it will be done in a week. Now lebara released my sim and I am not able to receive calls from past one month. I just to want to know how to proceed with this? is there any way to get it done. If not what action can be taken against it
