Not able to call in EU states

Good evening,

 

I have a O2 Free M Flex Online contract and I am currently in a different EU country than Germany for a few days. Somehow I am not able to call any number in other EU states, except the country I am currently in and Germany. I get a message saying I am now allowed to make these kind of calls, although my contract includes roaming in EU.

I contacted the hotline and I was told the problem would be solved within a couple of hours. 10 hours laters I am still not able to make the calls.

This is a phone I use for work and I need to have the ability to make calls in other EU states without limitations, is there a way the issue can be fixed quickly?

Please get in touch with our security department. Call 089/2442-6688 for further information. They blocked international callings for protection.

Thank you. I tried to call the number above multiple times but received no answer. How should I proceed? I called the hotline multiple times too and also received no help. 

Why would international calls among EU states would be blocked since Roaming in EU it is part of the contract? I never asked for this block and assumed everything would work fine. Now I am not able to use my phone.
