New sim not arrived


Hallo friends,

I’m a o2 customer since November 2020. In August 2021, a customer care executive called me and offered a new sim with new plan which has unlimited data and I accept the offer. Since August 2021 they are deducting money from my account but I have not received sim yet. I’m contacting them since last September and they are saying they sent but they also told me to go to O2 shop and ask for duplicate sim. When I asked on the shop they are helpless because it shows they already sent the sim. Still they are deducting money and I have not received anything and I cannot even get a duplicate one. I called customer care service several time but it not connecting. In this case, can i ask them for refund of the money which they deducted. ? please give me a solution for this. any help will be much appreciated.

At first glance, I noticed a discrepancy with your address. Could you tell me in which city you live?
Please don't write your exact address here publicly, just the city. And whether you moved some time ago. It could be that some of your old addresses are still on file and that's why you didn't get the corresponding sim card.
But I repeat again: please do not write your address here publicly. For everything else, I would then bring you into the private messages accordingly.

Thank you for your reply.
I was living in Munich till 30th January 2022 and moved to Berlin on 1st February 2022. I have not received anything when i was in Munich. After moved to Berlin, I changed my address in an O2 shop in Berlin. I aksed them to provide me a duplicate one because once a customer care excecutive told me to ask at any o2 store, but they are not giving. In this case, can you refund the money which you have deducted from August and issue me a new sim?

great, thank you for the information.
Then we need to switch now to the private messages, because we have to talk about your address. There are still some parts where your old address from Munich is registered.

Don't worry: your main address is in Berlin, but sometimes the system hiccups and we have to correct it a bit. But not at all wild. Before I can do that, however, I have to verify that you are the contract holder.
I'll explain how that works:
I'll send you a private message from our collective account @o2_Support. You will find it in your inbox here in a few minutes: Click. All you have to do is reply to this message with the following information: full name, phone number and 4-digit personal customer code. If some of this information is not available, then alternatively: full name, phone number and both addresses (Berlin and Munich).

We will clarify everything else in the private message.

I would like to know the tracking ID to track the shipment because last time customer support team told me the same. Also, could you tell me how much you gonna refund.? And to which account you gonna refund.?

our SIM cards are alway shipped by letter, there is no tracking for this, I’m sorry!

The refund is still in progress, you will be informed by email as soon as it’s ready. The credit can then be paid out or applied to your next bills, whichever you prefer.
