Dear O2 Team. I have moved to the new area more than 2 months ago. Inside the building the network and internet doesn't work. It means that when am inside it is almost impossible to receive or make a call. For internet i had to buy extras one. I reported this issue through different channels and the problem doesn’t got resolved. This problem is affecting me in many ways. And The contract i signed with you said that if you fail to provide me at least basics then the contract should be terminated. Kindly help me to end this contract so i can take my number to another sp because only O2 customers are experiencing this problem in my building. Other network providers works perfectly

Are you talking about an o2 Home tariff? Is it even available at the new usage address? DSL, Fiber Optic connection oder Cable/DOCSIS?


No. Am o2 customer i have a sim card contract of unlimited 300mbps. Beside the ignored fact that in my previous place i have never attained this promised speed of 300mbps. But now my problem now that no one in o2 customer center or the technical part seem to care. Am not receiving calls or if i do it get interrupted. For the internet there nothing is working so i had to buy it from another provider but am still paying O2  also this last Sunday i reported the issue on the website but imagine that you replied to me that the problem is solved yet it is not true. So you chose to write in O₂ Home → DSL, Kabel & Glasfaser because it’s not about o2 Home, because it’s not a about a o2 DSL Connection, it’s not a about a Cable/DOCSIS connection und because it’s not a about a fibre optic connection? Please look at the category before you simply dump inappropriate things somewhere.


How can i change it then and put it in the right category?

That is unfortunate, when after our technicians reported a solution to the disturbances which you reported, your mobile contract is still not working properly.

Could you give us a parallel street to your adress - please not your actual adress in order to protect your personal data - and the postal code of your adress in order for us to have a look as well?

what do yo mean the parallel street street. the problem is in Gothard str. xxxx, 13403 Berlin inside the building as long as i get outside the building the internet and network works perfectly

I masked your house number in order for your full address not to appear online. 

At the Gotthardstr in our live check we have restrictions reported, which are not disturbances, where our technicians can repair damages to stations, but restrictions possible due to overload.

In this case it is rather an expansion of our grid which can be a remedy.

before the expansion takes place then what can you advice me to do. why cant you accept to cancel my contract based on this since am really suffering from the consequences yet you keep charging me every month for services i don't fully benefit from.

I'm sorry that we can't tell you anything else. Your contract is a mobile phone contract. In the case of a mobile phone contract, network interference does not give you the right to extraordinary termination.

We ask for your understanding that we cannot comply with your request for termination without notice.
