Need to Know about the Port my existing number


Dear O2 Team,

I recently applied for a new contract with O2, including an iPhone 16 Pro. During the application process, I selected a plan and requested to port my existing number from Lebara (015166837445) to O2.

Everything went smoothly, and I have received the mobile phone. However, I have not yet received my contract number or SIM card, which means I am unable to log in to the O2 customer portal to check the status of the porting process or activate the SIM.

At this point, I am unsure if I need to take any further steps from my side. Could you please guide me on the following:

  1. When can I expect to receive the SIM and contract details?

  2. Is there anything I need to do to complete the porting process and retain my existing number?

I would appreciate your support in helping me proceed with the setup.

Unfortunately we don’t have any access to your customer data because you signed in with a prospect-account. 

Usually you get your SIM card by post. It takes up to five working days until it is delivered.

Did you ask for a plastic SIM or an eSIM profile? 

After activation you get the temporary mobile phone number for signing in our Meino2 account. Afterwards you can request a porting of your old number.
