Misleading contract

I’m extremely frustrated with O2 right now. I signed up for a postpaid contract expecting 1GB of data, as promised during my phone conversation with the agent. The call was recorded, so there’s proof of what was said. Yet, I was only given 500MB—a clear case of false commitment.  

Since this number was primarily for my 10-year-old son, I didn’t immediately check the data allowance after receiving the SIM. Now, when I reached out to customer care, I was told that I cannot change or cancel the contract due to the 24-month minimum term, and to make matters worse, there’s no option to add more data!  

I feel completely trapped in this unfair plan with no way out. This is beyond frustrating.  

Please help me resolve this.

I could take a look, the Iot M Tarif together with the Xplora X6 Play Kids Smartwatch is indeed with 500 MB.

You can revoke the contract, as it was made via our hotline, via E-mail to our address widerruf@cc.o2online.de.
