I have been observing my internet connection with O2 and it frustrates me when I lost internet connection when I travel, go nearby countries, and nur stay at home. I subscribed for the promo O2 Unlimited Max Online 2025 amounting to 29,99€ per month, 300MBits. I thought this was unlimited and why am I charge for two consecutive months amounting to 32,98€? Can someone enlighten me please. Thank you!

Look at your invoice. This will tell you what you have been charged for. There are several possibilities.

Unlimited data is only included in your tarif within Germany. If you go to other countries it is limited each month. You should receive a text message telling you this when you travel outside Germany.

Hello @Pieve6,

welcome to the community. 🙂

The data volume is unlimited within Germany, but there is also a max volume in EU countries regarding the fair use policy. Do you have the o2 Mobile Unlimited Max? Then it would be 129,3 GB for example.

Best regards,

Michi

Yes, i have that O2 unlimited Max (2025) subscription. On the other hand, i was not able to use the Internet connection when I went to Rhine falls(near the border), Switzerland. And still, I was charged. I went to O2 already and asked about that.. The thing is, their internet connection have loaded, have been used.. But I told the staff it was not functioning.but then again.. I have USED THE INTERNET IN SWITZERLAND. 🛜

Hello @Pieve6,

near the border to Switzerland it can happen that, depending on the settings of your device the Swiss net is being received and then the use of mobile data can be charged by the Swiss provider via us.

Near the border it is useful to have the setting on manual selction of the network in order to choose only EU provider.

Best regards,

Gerrit
