keep my old number

 hello!  I have prepaid sim card of o2 and I have applied for another provider for the same number as I want to take my o2 number with me. They mailed me that your previous provider didn’t accept our request. Please contact your old provider first. So i wanted to know if it’s possible for me to keep my number?

    I regret that the porting was not accepted by the new provider. Did they tell you a reason for the rejection?
