I have cancel my contract online 4 days back and as stated in there that I have to call and confirm. I did call and confirm about that. They said I will get confirmation email within 48 hours. Its been 4 days. I haven't  got any confirmation. Please help me to resolve this issue.

I have just checked everything for you. Your mobile phone contract will be cancelled on 13th July 2021.

 

If you do not receive a confirmation within the next 14 days, please come back to us. Then we will send the cancellation confirmation to you.

 

What is the reason for your cancellation? Is it interesting for you to receive a good offer from us?

As I have taken phone on 2018 and it was 2 year contract and it was supposed to end this year 2020.I have asked to cancel the contract as I dont wantto continue the service. I have done it online by cancelling it prior 3 months before the contracts end. Then without my consent how it can increase for 1 year. 

This is completely mischievous behaviour by o2. Horrible service. If any contract extension happen it happen after asking the customer. If I am not ready to use still you just extend my contract even I have requested for cancelation and after fullfiling my 2 year terms.


Hi @Rajeev ,

you made your online reservation for the cancellation on 03.05.2020. In order to give notice in time for this year, you should have done this till 13.04.2020.
Thus, the cancellation did not reach us in time for this year, which is why the contract has been extended by 12 months.

I am sorry that you are unhappy with this, I can understand that very well. However, we have no means of changing the terms and deadlines if the termination has reached us too late.
