Do you use an iPhone yourself, too? Did you activate SMS in the settings? If not, the iPhone is limited to sending your messages only as iMessages.
How to turn SMS on / off:
- Settings > Messages
- Tap “Send as SMS” switch to turn on or off .

Hi @jasonkieran,
thanks for your message. I regret that you have problems to send SMS-messages.
I have just checked everything. We did not block in our systems anything so that you cannot send text messages.
Please use this link: SMS configurations You first of all need to choose the device you have. Afterwards please follow the step-by-step instructions.
I hope that this suggestion will be of help to you.
Loving greetings,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,
Thanks for helping out! I can’t access this self help service as my phone is an iPhone XS and the website says that my phone is not supported at the moment. Do you have any other suggestions?
@jasonkieran did you turn off/on your mobile after changing the sms options like @Omikron recommended?
Here it works with an IPhone some weeks ago.

Hey guys,
I turned my iMessage on and off again, and enabled “Send and Receive” via my Apple ID. That seemed to solve it.
Thanks for all the help!
