How to install the esim for testkarte?

I have ordered o2 testkarte and requested for esim and then immediately my main simcard was deactivated and esim was activated and ready to install. Now here comes the problem. when trying to install esim app asks to authenticate with sms which is not really possible. If I call customer care they say they can only send new card. also the app says I cannot request qrcode via post. does any one have any experience with this issue??

Hello @chintu ,

if you yourself switch to an eSIM then this requires a two-factor authentication. As you don’t have a second SIM or a different number that can receive this SMS, this won’t work with a Testkarte. In this case the best choice is to seek out an o2 Shop that can directly perform the switch from a physical SIM to an eSIM.
