How to delete my O2 community account


I recently became a new customer for the homespot but i am being sent emails asking me to update payment details. I cant find this on this community account so i think i need to delete it and reregister!? 
then i can use this email address to make a customer account. how can i do this? thank you

I welcome you as a new Homespot-customer in our English Community. 

 

I am happy to help you with the registration of your mobile phone number in the o2 Community. 

 

First of all, you need to register your mobile phone number at “Mein o2”. 

 

How you do it is described here:

In this process you will receive a password by SMS. How you can read the SMS with your homespot-contract is described in this video: 

Unfortunately, we only have this video in German. I hope it is understandable for you. The pictures speak for themselves. :wink:

 

After you have registered your mobile phone contract at “Mein o2”, you now can register yourself in the Community by entering this website: entering the o2 Community 

 

The next step is to click on the button “Anmelden” that you find on the top on the right side of the web-page: 

Then choose a username of your choice. Please do not use any personal data in your username such as telephone/ customer-number or your name. Also the expression “o2” is not allowed because it is reserved for our o2 moderators only. 

 

Afterwards, please enter your e-mail address in order to get messages when you receive a reply to your thread in the o2 Community. 

 

At the end, you just need to accept the terms of use and click “Submit”.

thank you for your reply. 
I am not a mobile phone customer and it does not seem to accept my actual phone number which is with a different network. 
is there a solution for this? 
 

 

Hi @Amyb1 :relaxed:

 

technically the homespot + tariff is a mobile contract and the login works with your homespot phone number, which you’ll receive after the SMS has been sended to your homespot menu.

You can register the new number here.
