How to cancel O2 TV M. I don't watch TV and I don't want to pay for it. I got this postpaid connection on Jan 2022. I realised last month bill, that my billis having O2 TV for 4.99. since then I have tried online website and don't find any option to cancel it. I am kind of now thinking to change the number if I don't get any way to cancel TV option. Is there any easy way to cancel only O2 TV from my contract ? I don't want to 4.99. kindly help !

So I checked your client profile and I found your contract from Jan 2022.
The telephone tariff you chose o2 Free M includes o2 TV M at the cost of 4,99 EUR.
It is also specified in the contract. The first month was for free as u can see in your bills.
Unfortunately I can’t cancel this option. I wish I had better news for you.
But the good thing is, that the cancellation of the o2 TV M Pack is already registered for you at the end of the 24 months. This is also how long the monthly fees will accrue.
As you are alreday paying, maybe you wanna try o2 TV out and at least benefit from the advantages?

the o2 TV M option has a term of 24 months. You can cancel it yourself in the My o2 app at the end of the 24 months (to September 28th 2024).

in „Mein O₂“ unter TV & Extras kannst du O₂ TV M abbestellen. Es wird zum Mindestlaufzeitende gekündigt.

I have noticed on my contract that I’m paying 4.99 per month for O2 TV M - I feel pretty cheated about this as this wasn’t explained to me when I took out the contract in the shop. Can I have this service removed from my contract?

Would you like to describe to us in more detail what exactly happened? Did you not receive the confirmation of your booking from o2 TV or was there a misunderstanding?

I signed a contract with O2 im April and from this monat i have to pay 4.99€ for a package called O2 TV M, which i didn’t booked before or received any information about this booking. I don’t want to use this package und want to cancel it immediately. Thank you!

When were you informed about the booking? It looks like you were able to use the TV option for free for half a year. What does your contract summary say?


No,in the past 5 monats i didn’t have to pay for this package. Only from October this package was automatically booked 4.99€ from my account and i have no idea about that. I was informed about this booking im September but i thought it was just a advertisement and didn’t noticed too much

I looked at the booking(s), there were apparently several bookings on September 14th, 2024 made by an o2 shop. Did you go there yourself or were they all done without your consent?

o2 TV was booked for two (!) of your mobile phone contracts and the speed option was also booked for one mobile phone contract.

You were also informed about these orders by email, but missunderstood them, correct? Should they all be revoked?

Yes i was there by myself, but i just wanted to book the speed option for one mobile phone. About the package O2 TV M for 2 of my mobile numbers i didn’t get any information oder request for that. I feel like they tried to fool me and booked the TV M without my permission. I want to cancel the package TV M O2 in two mobile phone. Thank you!

You can only clarify this in the local shop.


I was there and they ordered me to wait 2 weeks. That made me feel uncomfortable. May i ask, if i could cancel this package anytime oder i have to wait until my contract finishes?

Hello, i was there and received only an answer that “i dont know” and they told me to come back after one week.

Now i received a bill in amount of 99,12€ that i dont understand why i should pay for a package that i didn’t signed.
