how can I correct my name during the sim activation


Hi, I have registered my first name and last name backwards during the sim activation. I cannot continue activation... How can I correct my name? I only speak English. Thanks

Hi Andrea/support,

I am having this issue as well, but the problem is that I cannot activate my sim with my name incorrect because the Identity Verification fails, and they tell me I have to fix my name. But it is stuck because there is no way to fix the name. Is there a way to restart the activation so I can enter my name again and correct it?

Ordering a new free sim card could be a solution, but first i would like to ask, how do you have tried to activate the sim card?

Hi Michael, so far I have been going to this site to activate it: https://www.o2.de/freischalten

The Sim is a prepaid sim card that I’ve already paid for, so I really hope I do not need to go buy another one.

All of the activation goes well, but it seems to have memorized my name as Mike and will not let me change it to Michael (which is on my passport), so the Identity people will not approve it until it is fixed.

did you buy your card in a store or online? And where have you already had your name deposited? So in which step did the error happen?

I have similar issue, can you please 🙏 help me out ? 

I entered my name correctly and auto filling of my phone has incorrectly added my company name at the end of my surname?

Please let me know what shall I do?
