English Telephone Support


I am very please O2 has decided to fully support English speaking customers.

This is a massive step forward to provide the best customer service without the language barrier. 

 At this time of posting the telephone number for O2 customer service ( English language ) is  089 6666 30081

Customer support on is available during the hours 10am until 6pm

Please have some time with you the waiting time can be long depending on the time of the day and the availability of a customer support agent.

To save time make sure you have all your customer data to hand including your customer services PIN.

@o2_Larissa I did attempt to use the English hotline. Sadly at the time of phoning 10.10am 21st September I waited over 30 minutes in the line. I didn’t have any  more time left. I tried on hour later. Still waiting after 10 Minutes. So I gave up. I guess O2 Customer service is in overload. At least  it proves I can access the hotline. The voice prompts are in clear British language. Its just the waiting time.👀

Unfortunately this Hot line its not working correctly. Waiting time is always about 30 minutes but after that its looks like you are talking to the random people. They don't know what to do and answer and they are going to switch the phone call to other people just to get a rid of you. I just needed to improve my plan and after of two days calling I gave up. I have received so many different answers that it doesn't makes any sense. For example I was told to take bigger plan when day  before I was told that my land line cannot take it.

If the question is too difficult they just put the phone down!

I really appreciate the idea, there is a lot of people who would love to use it, but the quality needs to be improved.

Hi, I would like to say that i have a prepaid number and would like to get it ported to other service provider, please guide me how can i proceed, as my other service provider told me to get the consent from o2 for porting the number, as I tried to contact o2 but difficult to get to o2 as I got the no of the prepaid department but they were speaking in German, so please guide me.

@Arshad You can made it by yourself with the o2 service app for Android or iOS and set the opt-in option (give your o2 mobile number free for porting to another provider)

I’ve now set the opt-in for your number, your new provider now has a month to start the process of porting it over.

Hi, my new provider told me to get the consent from o2, if you provide them the consent, then they will be able to port the number.

the “Opt-In” is the “Okay” from us, so that your new provider kann port the number :) Did you try it already?

I don't know how to use opt-in key.

To have your number ported, please contact your new provider.
They must then submit the application for number portability to us.
