einen Vertrag kündigen, den ich heute unterschrieben habe

hi, I currently have an eSim and bought a new phone and have been trying to link it to my new phone but to no avail so I decided to call O2 and have them cancel my current contract which I thought would be canceled immediately but unfortunately it didn't as it is a two year contract. The person then put me through to someone who was willing to help me keep my current O2 number but then use it on a different phone and when I told the person about canceling my contract they offered me a different plan and we ended up signing a contract. It was only after the call that I realized my current contract doesn't end until 31st January 2026 and I want to cancel the contract I recently signed.

The new contract has not been concluded. 
Your existing contract has a term until 30.01.2026 and has not been terminated. 
If you want to cancel it, you can do so via the cancel button. 

However, it will still only end on 30.01.2026.

Hello Solveig. Thank you for your response. I was told that the contract has been cancelled and l will receive an email in the next few days. As for the new contract l received an email with the following details. Does that mean it hasn’t been concluded and how can l cancel it?

the new contract was rejected because the credit check failed. So there is nothing left to do. The existing contract will be canceled in January 31st 2026.
