E-mail cannot be verified

Hi,

Hope here in our community we can find a solution to my little issue.

So I want to register my e-mail address but it seems that there are a few technical problems: A message appeared to me inviting to confirm my e-mail address but, after having already requested two times the link for confirmation, still I have not received it consequently could not verifiy it.

Please help me to know if my e-mail is registered correctly to my O2 account or can you verifiy it?

Thanks in advance for your help. Regards.

Thanks in advance for your help. Regards.

Hi @pier90

welcome to our English Community. Thanks for your message.

First of all, I would like to thank @Sandroschubert for combining the 2 threads under one title.  Thanks for the help.

Please make sure not to open different threads for the same issue.

You mentioned that something is wrong with the e-mail-verification. Is it concerning a postpaid-contract or concerning a prepaid-tariff?

Do you receive a technical failure-message?

Thanks for giving me some more details.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi o2_Tobias ,

Thanks for your reply. It regards my SIM card with a prepaid-tariff.

When I open my data section in O2, I click on the button to confirm my e-mail address. Then it appears a message saying “We have sent you an email with a confirmation link”. But I have never received this e-mail, I double checked eithers inbox and spam but nothing. I tried it many times.

Therefore, at the end, it appears impossible to confirm my email address.

May you please help me with that?

Thanks in advance. Best regards,

Pier

Hi @pier90

thanks a lot for your message.

I just had a look in your data. I found out that you have an Italian contact address.

Please be aware that we require a German contact address and a German e-mail-address.

Therefore, please fill out the following document: Prepaid – Besitzerwechsel (Change of ownership) Please use only a German contact-address and a German e-mail-address.

Thanks a lot for your support.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Tobias thanks for your prompt reply,

Sorry for writing a lot but I really want to kindly clarify this point. After I bought for the first time my Pre-paid Sim card, I followed entirely all the registration process as specified.

I remember I chose the option to use this app: identity [identity.tm AG] to complete my process.

→ Download the Qr-Code to use the App. for identification; having a video call for facial recognization plus ID photos taken; etc.

!Very important → all data have been taken and entered by the person in charge during my registration phase!

Regarding my address, of course I had already tried to change it but it appears that I cannot select my current address (please see the screen capture attached). The street is okay, problem is with my current house number.

This appears very strange, since I can confirm it exists and I am at this address. Probably because it is a new building, but again very very strange.

May you kindly please help me to solve it? I would really appreciate your help with this matter.

I really want to use my o2 sim card and carry on being your customer. Hopefully you understand my point.

Thanks in advance. Regards,

Pier

Hi @pier90

thanks for your screenshots that you sent.

The reason why our system cannot find your address is that you have not registered your prepaid-card with any address within Germany. We only accept a German address.

If you live in Italy, please use any Italian prepaid-card.

If you still have a German address, please use the form I already have sent to you:  Prepaid – Besitzerwechsel (Change of ownership)

Loving greetings,

Tobias
