Hello, I have moved out of Germany and I want to cancel my O2 prepaid sim card and stop the calling and internet packs. I was told to do it by post. But I am already moved out of Germany and do no posses any local address. Please let me know if I can do it by using an email and which one? Thank you, Prachi Patil

Hey @BCathie,

Are you sure you didn't book a pack? Normally, only then the money is automatically deducted. Are you registered in "My o2" and have you looked there?

Greetings,
Flo

Hi Flo,

yes, I’m sure that I did not book a pack - I’m outside Germany and use the other number. That’s why I’m very much surprised that the budget turned out to be “0”. Moreover, I start to worry that there will be a debt although I’m not using the number, I canceled the pack and was reassured in January that there will be no charges.

I have o2 profile but there are no details on charges there. But in this profile I see that there is no pack booked.

How can I have the money back? Can you please make sure that there will be no unexpected debt?

Best,

Ekaterina

Dear @BCathie ,

your SIM-card was deactivated and the credit is then deleted after some time.

You can request a payout of the credit balance. Please use our form to do so: Guthabenauszahlung

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hallo, I will be moving out of Germany mid of December. I would like to end my prepaid SIM card contract and get the account credit back after I leave Germany. This link this form for the termination and the credit payout is not working for me.

Hello @Irtv5, I looked for the right link for you. → Prepaid Guthabenauszahlung

You can use this form to have your credit paid out and your card will also be canceled with the payout.

If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to write us here 🙂

Kind regards, Ines.
