Hello, I have moved out of Germany and I want to cancel my O2 prepaid sim card and stop the calling and internet packs. But i cant fill this document above bcs i dont speak German so can someone help me.

Dear @Ivanovv ,

you can cancel your prepaid card by requesting a payout of the balance to your bank account. After the payout, the prepaid card will be deactivated.

You have to fill in your prepaid SIM-card number, your prepaid phonenumber and then your personal data (Mr./Mrs. first name, surname, street and number, postzipcode and city, date of birth).

You can leave the tick unchecked, unless you want to port the number to another German card.

Fill then in name of bankaccount owner, name of the bank, BIC and IBAN. Then sign with date and if the owner of the bankaccount is someone else he/she has to sign, too. Send the filled form to the address in the upper right corner.

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hello,

I am about to move out of Germany and would like to deactivate the O2 sim card. According to above mentioned information, I understood that I need to send filled application form to the mentioned address. However, there is one small mistake in the name, which is visible in the personal details in the login account. Is that going to be a problem! Also, how to correct it!

Hi @VC117

welcome to our English Community.

Thanks for asking about the mistake in your name.

Is the mistake in the form that you sent to us, or is there a mistake in the personal details when you go online to your account?

In order to avoid any difficulties, you better send the form again with your name that you see online: the form to deactivate the sim card and get the remaining credit back.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hello,

I need help to deactivate my subscription, I keep getting charged for the data I don’t order. Would it be possible to get it refunded? I did not use the data.

Best,

Del

Hello @Del7,

welcome to the o2 community and thank you for your enquiry. :blue_heart:
Could you briefly tell us whether your request is prepaid or postpaid? And which option is it exactly?

Thank you and kind regards

Hello,

It is Prepaid S (9.9eur) and Prepaid Data Pack S (2.99eur). I usually top up manually everytime I need internet data. But, since January it is automated, idk why. I unsubscribe it last month but I just get a notification that I will get charged again soon.

Best,

Del

Did you unsubscribe both packages?

I did, but somehow it is not saved. and today I check again I can not find a way to unsub the prepaid S (9.9eur).

Did you cancel it immediately or only at the end of the term?

Is the display in the Mein o2 app and in Mein o2 (browser) identical?

For Prepaid Data Pack S, today I end it at the end of term.

I don’t have mein o2 app, so I don’t know

Hi @Del7 ,

the o2 my Prepaid Data S is cancelled, the My Prepaid S is still set to automatic renewal.

We can cancel the automatic renewal for you, please let us know it that’s still you wish. We’ll also gladly take care of the costs for these packs and options.

Best regards,
Kurt

Hello,
I have moved out of Germany and I want to cancel my O2 prepaid sim card and stop the calling and internet packs. I do not need my balance refunded just to cancel the contract and number.

Thanks :)

Hello @akos.vgh ,

for the cancellation you can write us a short termination letter with your name, adress and your prepaid phone number.

If you would like your credit payed out, please also mention this in the letter.

A cancellation via letter is not mandatory, the sim card will be deactivated after a certain time.

Should I deactivate some prepaid options for you?

Best regards,

Manuela

Hi!

As most people above, I would also like to cancel my prepaid SIM. I don’t need any money refunded, but the link that has been used above doesn’t work for me (have added the error code in the picture)

I also can’t send letters as I have also left the country.

Please can someone help? :)
