Contract Transfer from Sim to Dsl or Fibre

Hello, I am planning to order a SIM-only home internet contract (around 50 Mbps for €14/month). Before ordering, I would like to clarify a few points: If DSL or fiber becomes available at my address later, will I be able to cancel the SIM contract before the 24-month minimum term? If yes, what would be the cost? Is there any option to switch (transfer) from the SIM contract to a DSL or fiber contract? If yes, are there any fees for this change? At the moment, I have checked and DSL/fiber is not available at my address that is in Dresden.

A technology change from o2 Home FMS to fiber optic/DSL/cable is possible during the contract period.

Hello @Burhan Ahmad,

welcome to our o2 Community 🙂

Great that Bumer could already write you the central information, that a switch is possible from the SIM-only o2 Home also to fiber technology🙂

With this switch there are no one-time fees.

As of now, the up to 50 MBit/s Home S is available via SIM-only/FMS, but not via fiber, here we have as the smallest Tarif the o2 Home M for 39,99 € monthly.

Best Regards,

Gerrit
