contract transfer

A friend of mine transferred her 02 home contract to me before she left for South korea.

The monthly contract was 19.99 euros a month.

Next month the 81 euros was deducted from my account. After that 49 euros. I went to talk with the 02 assistant but he is rude and of no help.

He said there is no contract with my name but what about the money that keeps deducting.

Please someone explain this situation.

I just stopped my payment from my bank account.

Did your friend transfer the contract holder to you or the bank details? The first one is mandatory to get access to the contract and tariff details like bills.

No I don't have access to the contract. Only money getting deducted!

Did your friend transfer the contract to you? Is it now in your name? If so, you should have received the details by email and have access to it online. You may need to register in the customer portal.

Then how did you go about transferring the contract to your name? Did you do a Vertragsinhaberwechsel online?

We went to the O2 shop to transfer the contract 

He took my phone number (its not O2 number),email and my bank details and then my id 

and told me its done. I didn't receive any confirmation! Then 

Yesterday I went to access the contract he said there is no contract in my name.

I dont know what to do

Then I would suggest you ask your friend whether she can still access the contract. You would have needed to sign a document in the shop to transfer it. Maybe just the bank account was changed.

Yes I asked her the same but she said can't access her account. So I don't know what exactly is happening.

Perhaps the email address was entered incorrectly by the shop.

I'm sorry to hear that neither of you can access the contract online. In order to transfer it to you, a change of contract holder is necessary. This change can be made online so that you become the contract holder.

If your friend no longer has online access, it would be important to know why. You normally log in with your phone number and a chosen password. If your friend no longer knows the password, they can click on “Forgot password.” Since your community account is not linked to a customer account with us, we are unfortunately unable to set anything up or view anything from here. Have you already called our English hotline? Although it would be better for your friend to do this, as you are not currently the contract holder 🤔
