I am a customer of O2 that uses the O2 Free M Boost (With 20GB from the youth package) from the 5th May 2019, and with the contract ending, I would like to extend my contract.
From what I have understand, O2 have discontinued the fair use policy of reduced speed of 1mbps for new contracts, and I think this applies to extended contracts as well.
The question that I have is that: If I don’t go for the contract extension of 24 months and instead let my current contract be automatically extended for 12 months, will I still be able to keep this throttled speed of 1 mbps?

If you choose the automatic extend for 12 months, your plan will stay as it is now.
Please note that any discounts may be limited to 24 months and will no longer apply.
