Continued Billing After Service Termination


I am writing to request the cancellation of my mobile subscription and to dispute the invoices I have received for January and February. I had requested the termination of my subscription at the end of December, yet I continue to receive bills for a service that should have been discontinued.

I kindly ask you to review my request and confirm the cancellation of my subscription as of the initial termination date. Additionally, I request the cancellation of any outstanding charges that have been wrongly applied. Please provide me with written confirmation of the resolution of this issue as soon as possible.

I was happy to look at your contract and your invoices.

We do not have a cancellation notice for this contract. Did you submit it online in writing?

To ensure that your contract is terminated as quickly as possible, please send us your cancellation using our online cancellation form.

A refund of the monthly fees is unfortunately not possible in this case, as this does not appear to be an error on our part.

I did it online and receive the cancelation confirmation via email on 24 december. what’s the issue with this?

That is just the confirmation that the termination request was received. When does your contract term end? If you sent the termination on 24th December then the earliest could be the end of January if the minimum term has laready ended and you would receive a final invoice in February to cover the period until then. Check your contract / look in the app or the customer portal to see when it actually ends.

I also see a possible problem with the processing of your termination: You appear to have entered a phone number as the customer number! You should not post either in a public forum though!

In any case the invoices issued in January and February have to be paid.

Hello ​@YOZ123,

with this cancellation you have only cancelled the contract for a phone number ending on ...209 (which is unknown to us). Please send in the cancellation again.

Très bien, si l'annulation est effectuée jusqu'en janvier, même si je l'ai fait en décembre, pourquoi maintenant je reçois toujours la facture également pour février ?

Please stop posting personal details! 

Your contract has not been terminated as you did not provide the correct customer and phone numbers. That is why you need to do it again. Assuming the minimum term has already ended, the contract will end in a month and you will receive a final invoice in April.

update : I already paid the previous bills but the website still facing the same problem so how can I cancel this contract, I will not pay each month as the problem is not from me???

No, it did not. As has already been explained to you, the contract has not yet been properly terminated.

Try a different browser. There is no general problem with this form. If it really does not work for you at all, you could try using the contact form here:

Make sure you include all the relevant details, in particular the customer number and the correct telephone number.

I am still trying within the website, but so far, the same problem persists. It may be due to the delay in the unpaid bill. I am waiting for the changes on my O2, as they mention that they will receive the payment after 3 working days. 

Do you have any alternative ?

@YOZ123 An alternative is to use our contact form which bs0 linked earlier: https://www.o2online.de/service/kontaktformular/ 

You will then recieve a confirmation that we received your contact form with the cancellation of your contract.

Via our webpage with the cancellation form, did you try a different browser or erases cache and cooki4s in the browser settings and startet your browser new and tried again?

Today the website is working however while filling all cases for cancel contract online it appears like this without  cancellation

update: Now I received this paper what is the next step, how much it would take to cancel the contract ?

That is confirmation of receipt. In order for o2 to process your request for early termination, you will also need to send a copy of the Abmeldung in Germany and proof of residence in another country. The contract will then be terminated in one month.

you can send the documents as a scan or photo to us via our contact form: Kontaktformular and add your phone number and that the documents are a proof necessary for its early cancellation 🙂
