Complaint Regarding Unexpected Charges on My Telefónica Germany (o2) Bill

Dear Telefónica Germany Customer Service,

 

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding unexpected charges on my recent bill. I recently signed a contract for the o2 Mobile M Online (2024) plan, which includes:

1Monthly tariff after discounts: 16.49

2Monthly device installment: 37.00

3Total expected monthly charge: 53.49

 

However, on my recent bank statement, I noticed that Telefónica Germany deducted 41.05 and 37.00, totaling £78.05, which is significantly higher than the agreed amount.

 

Additionally, I had already made a prepayment of £185.99, which included:

1 Down payment for the device: £181.00

Shipping fees: £4.99

Please provide me with an official invoice detailing these charges and let me know how this issue can be resolved. If necessary, I am willing to escalate this matter further.

 

I appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this issue. I look forward to your response.

I could take a look, the 181,00 € downpayment have been considered when setting the 36 monthly rates at 37,00 € then it is the total amount of 1513,00 €.

The current bill for your mobile contract contains the basic fee for 2 days ands 29,99 € one time connection charge. Wiutht he upcoming invoice it will be 16,89 €.

You can see and download the invoice via your customer account.

To avoid any misunderstandings, this is a forum and not customer services or the place for a formal complaint if that is your intention.

Log into the customer portal or the app to download the invoice. If it is a new contract there is a connection charge to pay for the mobile contract, which is probably the reason for the higher invoice in the first month.

Thanks for your explanation. I just want to confirm that, after the discount, the tariff price in my contract is £16.49, not £16.89.
