Change from Postpaid contract to Prepaid SIM & retain the number

Hello O2 community,

I have an O2 postpaid contract which is due to expire in June 2022. I checked if it is possible to convert the postpaid contract prepaid contract but could not find an option to do so. Could you please help me with this? I would like to reiterate that I want to continue using my current mobile number.

Hello @mudassirshaikhji,

this would be a transfer between o2 Postpaid to o2 Prepaid or with a completely different Provider? In either case you’d have to start the process where you want to use the number in the future, not on our end.

    My Postpaid contract is  going to be end in  this month. I want to keep my number but in to prepaid. So could provide me any solution for this please? Thanks in advance!

    Dear @SadiK1992 ,

    you can start a new prepaid SIM-card and port your old number to that card.
