Change from O2 Loop to o2 Prepaid M


Hi,

I want to change from my O2 Loop Smart to O2 Prepaid M. I tried the “tarif wechseln” both through the app and “mein o2” but no alternative tarif shows up. I tried to do it through the “Tarifmanager” by dialing *107# but no options either. I tried sending “START o2myPrepaidM” to 5667 and nothing happened. I called the english o2 hotline and it’s only for postpaid customers.

Please help.

Hi!

 

o2 Loop is your basic tariff, o2 my Prepaid M is an additional package that you can add to your basic tariff.
You should find the pack i.e. in Mein o2 under Smartphone Optionen & Sonstige Pakete ("Smartphone options & other packages").

Hi @tearsbeforecrying  thank you for your reply! -- I just checked what you suggested.

Prepaid M does not appear under “Smartphone-Optionen & Sonstige Packs” neither under “Internet-Packs,” nor under “Telefonie-Packs.”

Under “Smartphone-Optionen & Sonstige Packs” it only offers the “Surf Upgrade Bonus” which apparently is “aktif”, the “Surf Upgrade 1 GB,” the “Surf Upgrade 3 GB,” and the “o2 More Local.”

Sorry, my mistake. I only read “o2 Loop” and not “o2 Loop Smart”

You are right. First you must change your basic tariff from o2 Loop Smart to o2 Loop and than you can book the o2 my Prepaid M package.

 

You can not change to o2 Loop with USSD Code *107# ?

I followed your instructions and did it through the *107#, but I’m not sure wether it worked or not. I got a few questions but no confirmation after the last time i said yes. I keep checking both in the app and in the web, and still “o2 Loop Smart” appears under Mein Tarif.

If it cannot be changed via the * 107 #, then you need further help from an o2 employee. You have to wait 7-14 days (!).

That is an insane waiting time for such a simple action -- I did not anticipate that or was warned about.

I’m trying to follow the link you sent but i keep getting “404 - Seite nicht gefunden”

Do you mean “Aura” ? I tried that, doesn’t respond to english.
