Change data plan from prepaid card


Hi, I wanted to change the plan for my Prepaid line, so I selected the XL data pack of 20 euros. I didn't have any credit at the momento, so I received a mesage saying the plan would activate once I had enough balance. So I topped up, and now it automatically discounted 10 euros of the 30 I added, and it activated the S data pack. Why can't I have the pack I selected? I don't want the S pack. Its not good for me. What can I do?

I will appreciate your help.

welcome to the o2 community.
The o2 My Prepaid Data XL was deactivated via the online portal on 23.08.2019 and the o2 My Prepaid S was booked for it.
In goodwill i have reinstalled your previous data pack XL

Hello Antje!
Thank you so much! This means that from now on, everytime I recharge, I can do it with the XL pack? Do I have to do something else to ensure I have this pack and not the smallest one?

Hi Orne89,

you must cancel the Data Pack XL before the 27.09.19. Otherwise the Pack will be renewed tor the next month.

I want to change my prepaid package to O 2 my prepaid S.

Can you tell me how would I do that. I tried doing it but it says that, contact prepaid customer support.

Please send a text to 5667 with START o2myPrepaidS

Afterwards you have to charge 9,99 EUR for payment. 

The package has a period of 28 days (!) not a full month

So watch our if you think about creating a banker’s order or a direct debiting to put in the right period.

Dear O2 team, 

As of now I am having a plan (27.50€ with 120gb)activated with a contract of 2yr since 1st feb, 2023.

Can I get my plan changed and upgarde the plan within same contract?

Hey @SinghSom ,
that’s a great question.
You can change or upgrade your tariff any time, within the same contract.
Have you seen a tariff you are interested in? Which one is it?
