Cancellation Invoice


Hello,

 

I have asked for help before regarding a cancelation from abroad. Now that my phone has been cancelled, I have questions regarding the payment of the basic three month fee. I have received the following e-mail:

 

"Dear xxxxxx,

Thank you very much for your letter.

We will cancel your contracts with the numbers sredacted], ,redacted] in advance to 21st April 2020.

For the early cancellation of your contract we will charge you as agreed 71,64 EUR Rfirst number contract], 14,30 EUR EUR Rsecond number contract]. This amount and arising mobile phone expenses such as connections and the proportional basic charge until the actual deactivation date will be charged afterwards. For this reason you will still receive invoices after the expiration of your contract. On your invoice you can find the connection period.

If we have your authorization for direct debiting we will charge your giro account with the invoiced amount. Otherwise please transfer this amount to the following bank account up to the date of maturity indicated on the invoice:

My question is: should i transfer the amounts that were given on the email or to wait for an invoice, because no invoice was attatched to the email and I have received nothing so far regarding that. Also, I thought the basic-fee payment was a final invoice and now I might receive more after the cancelation? I'd appreciate some explanations, because I feel like I'm losing time to pay anything I owe O2 before this is done for good.

thanks for your request concerning your cancellation because of moving abroad.

 

I am happy to help you with the 3-months-charge. As indicated in the letter the 3-months-fee and arising mobile phone expenses such as connections and the proportional basic charge will be charged until the actual deactivation date afterwards.

 

So, you only pay your invoice until the deactivation date 22nd April 2020 plus the 3 months-fee.

 

As you do not allow us to debit the amounts from your bank account, please transfer the amounts seperately to our bank account. Do not forget to indicate the customer number as “reason for transfer” (Verwendungszweck).

Hello,

 

I have received an invoice in the outstanding amount of 133 euros for this last month. Can you confirm if this is the last invoice plus the three month basic fee and arising connections included? Can you guarantee that I won’t receive any further invoices for a contract that has been cancelled after this has been paid and has not been used since October? Informations are sent in very ambiguous ways here and always taking time and money. As a Student theres no way I can pay 133 euros monthly for the next three months living abroad amidst a global economic crisis, much less when the original contracts cost me 33 euros monthly. There was no clarification if the basic fee is charged all at once or if its paid in three separate months.
