Cancel Direct Debit

Hey,

I woke up today to find that 20 euros has gone from my account and I didn’t consent to this direct debit.
When I added my bank info, I remember I clicked somewhere that says my bank would be charged only if I ask for a top-up. When I checked now, it says the bank will be used every time I finish my package and there’s no option to cancel that.
I also clicked on top-up 15 EURO by mistake trying to figure out my way on this complicated website and I don’t know how to cancel this order.
is there any way to cancel or refund these 2 cases? I need to cancel or remove my account because I didn’t consent to this type of bank debit.

Edit o2_Bianca: Moved from o2 Prepaid to English o2 Community Mobile

Hi!

Log into Mein o2 with your phone number and then click here: https://www.o2online.de/ecare-prepaid/automatische-aufladung

Remove all ticks:

Then press "Speichern" (Save) at the bottom.

To have the bank details removed from Mein o2, you must contact the o2 Prepaid Customer Care.  You can use the o2 prepaid customer chat (o2 Prepaid Kundenchat) for this: www.o2.de/chat

Hi @ana111,

welcome to our community. 🙂

The very detailed solution from tearsbeforecrying already helped I guess, but is there’s anything you still want know, just ask us here.

Best regards,

Michi

I just received a message that says I have 4 Euros in debt. I didn’t use anything from the 15 Euros and I canceled the direct debit from my bank account as I was adviced by the live chat and now it says I’m in 4 euros in debit and my number is blocked until I settle it though my phone already has a full package that I didn't even use.
I’m really speechless, what's going on?

@ana111 If you have objected to the direct debit at your bank, then unfortunately there will be a fee of 4 euros.

@ana111 Your card will be activated again after full payment. You can also transfer the amount, simply use the bank details from o2 and send an empty SMS to 56656 and then you will receive the bank details and the intended use by SMS and then you simply transfer the 4 euros after receipt of payment, your card will then be activated again.

@ana111the SMS does not work because of the blocking, please contact the o2 hotline, they can also give you the intended purpose. Alternatively, you can of course also top up your card with a credit of 15 euros. For example via www.aufladen.de.

the hotline doesn’t speak English. I have just transferred the amount and I need to unblock it urgently for an important call.
The whole  process is completely frustrating and it’s an obvious robbery

Hi @ana111,

sorry for the frustrating experience. 😕 Did you withdraw the debit charge via the link tearsbeforecrying provided earlier in this thread?

This is important to prevent further debits.

Best regards,

Michi
