Did you already test if you get any SMS at all?
Or are there only specific companies from whom you do not receive SMS-messages?
Do you have an additional multicard? If yes, did you already check the settings of your multicard? Probably, the SMS-messages go to the wrong card.
These are some of the areas to check.

Thanks for replying, I have never received any sms in Germany since I started using 1 year ago. I rarely use this feature though but I want it just for the 2 factor authentication. I tried even to send sms from other people to my number but nothing.
-What is the multicard? I remember when I started the contract with O2 that I received 2 sim cards that I though the same, can’t remember where I put the other one.

The multicard is a second SIM-card that you received for the same mobile phone number. The multicard-setting may be the main reason why you did not receive any SMS until now.
Can you please have a look if the multicard-setting is correct in your case? Please have a look here: Multicard-settings I just changed the income of SMS to the multicard 2 now. Can you therefore check if you receive any SMS now?
