Battery problem of my XPLORA X6 watch

Hello, 

I have ordered the XPLORA X6 for my kids since the end of 2024. After about 6 months, we started to find battery problems, where the battery can not be charged sometimes, but might be able to be charged again if we try to unplug and plun in again. However starting from the end of 2025, the watch battery could not be charged at all, so the watch could not work at all now. 

So What shall I do now with the watch, can I get it repaired or battery replaced?

Moin Moin,

the Gewährleistung runs 2 years. 

For the first 12 months, it's assumed the defect existed when the product was purchased, and you'll usually receive a free repair.

From the 13th to the 24th month, you'll need to provide an expert report proving the defect was present at the time of purchase.

You should check if the manufacturer offers a warranty (Garantie) that covers battery defects.

 

I found a Service for changing the batterie, about 51€.

It’s very frustrating that you’re having a problem with the battery. schluej has already provided you with some information about this. Have you been able to contact the manufacturer yet? Have you made any progress regarding a repair or replacement of the battery?

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure if I need to contact the manufactory because I buy the watch via O2 online with a contract of prepay + monthly payment model. I am even not sure if I go to any O2 store, I would have support from them, because I might be told that this is sold online.

That is why I am here. I am looking for a solution whether O2 would be helpful to repair or replace my watch.

Hello ​@Jiayuan,

as schluej wrote, after the first 12 months a repair is subject to a fee unless a certified expert opinion on the watch for your kids testifies that the damage existed from the beginning.
