Service
Hi,

I've been on O2 with a prepaid number for around 4 years now, and have been very happy with the service in Berlin and the price.

I'm wanting to add an Apple Watch with cellular to my account. Thanks to the very helpful O2.de twitter team 😀, I now understand that I can't add a cellular Apple Watch to my prepaid account (which is quite a shame 😞 ).

So, my question is what would be the best way to do this? I currently use no more than 2 GB of data per month in total, and very few talking minutes and SMS's (probably less that 30 minutes and 10 SMS's). What O2 offering would be best for my iPhone (nano SIM) and Apple Watch (eSIM) based on that, and how much would it cost? (I expect the Apple Watch data usage to be very low.) I'll be honest, if it's much more than I currently pay (less than €15) then it's quite unlikely I would even consider it!

Thanks!
Any advice? The Twitter O2 folks were pretty quick and helpful. For me, what I see on the website is extremely unclear to me how it would work (and is not a language issue there!), and without clarity the chances of me signing up for a contract are infinitesimally small!

Is looking like I’ll be sticking to prepaid at the moment and accepting a lack of cellular connectivity.
Hello @Wilko,

welcome to the o2 community. Nice to see you here.

So I would recomend you the "o2 Free S Boost". It included 2 GB datavolume in a month an you got a call- and SMS-flatrate. Also you will get the connect-optin. It means that you can get 3 multicards and 7 datacards. Per month it costs by default 24,99 EUR. At the moment there is an offer: the first 6 month are free and from the seventh month on you would pay 24.99 EUR per month.

If you like to I could send you an offer per eMail.

Best regards, Tatjana
Hey @Wilko,

let me know if you have any other questions.

Have a nice day,

Tatjana
Hi Tatjana,

Thanks for your reply and the information.

That’s way more than I am paying for on a prepaid tariff, just to add the watch - which is likely to use very little data and minutes. So I will stay prepaid and not move to a contract!

In fact, the difference in price over a 24 month contract period, will pretty much pay for my watch! 😆
